Aashutosh Gowarikar should change his name to Gawaarkar. He seems to have no knowledge of how to portray history.
And a big LOL at morons who says getting leaner and fatter in a quick time is the ultimate dedication. You ask to any bodybuilding or fitness professional….maintaining your perfect physique for a longtime is the most difficult thing….making an 8 pack and muscles you can achieve in 3-6 months with the help of steroids..similarly getting lean suddenly is done by cutting off the food all of a sudden for a period of time…both these are not at all good for your body. Salute to the dedication of Hrithik for maintaining his awesome physique for the past 10+ years. During the KNPH days he only had great biceps but from 2005 onwards he has developed his chest and abs and till now he has maintained it….so tell me who is setting the example of dedication?
On other hand we have seen some superstars here who gets beefed up in 6 months for a particular movie showing 6 packs and 8 packs….or getting fat and slim abruptly…and people having single pack showing it as 6 pack using VFX…:P

Because that’s the standard we have set for ourselves. These kind is sones don’t appeal to gobartards like us. I’m at a loss. If you look at it as a simple clip, it is not a masterpiece – it is normal. But if you watch this video as a part of the film, my brain refuses to accept it at all.
1. They sing “Mohenjo Daro”? I heard right? They named their city as we are, that is, people of the XXI century? And if you translate, the city called the “Mound of the Dead Men”! Are you serious? Who wants to live in a city with such a name?
People!!! My brain simply refuses to accept it. Yes I understand what nobody can tell what there were names what passions, but logic? Where is the logic? I do not care about the history of film.
2. Why the girl has a long skirt? Why to her it, if at a skirt a section to a waist? What does the skirt hide? Where logic? And why to her then open back? For airing? And textile? From where there is so much textile? They already knew cultivation of cotton and silk? You is serious? At people was fabrics a little and clothes since the majority her was done of hair of animals!!! And where so much fabrics have taken to dress mass? Yes only to dress people in mass it is necessary to weave cloths so many!!! And paints, from where such variety of paints? Red color in general a rarity in the nature, the majority was vegetable color, they quickly burned out.
3. And the shoes! Have you seen their sandals? Why not barefoot? It’s logical !!! Shoes up to XX century was considered a luxury !!!
4. And jewelry? They had steel tools, mines? Where they are diamonds, sapphires and other stones got? The girl has all dress in stones? Where logic??? They have jewelry of white metal! Seriously? @Alyaska… I respect your honest opinion, its ok if you were highly disappointed with this, but this is Bollywood dear, we highly base our story on imagination with some facts…take any movie released before on history /real incident… Eg. Mughal – E-Azam, Border, Legand of Bhagat Singh, Lagaan, Gadar etc all have blended reality with some flavour of imagination in story, clothes, culture etc…
So first of all your unnecessary over expectations killed your curiosity abt movie but still I would say Trust in Combo of Hrithik+Ashutosh Govarikar+ARR…
They had produced Masterpiece Jodha Akbar in past… Please watch Mohenjo Daro in theaters only, if possible.
We are going to watch the movie to have fun, to get entertained, to witness some lovely scenes and performances. We are not going to cinema for participating in History lectures for 2.30 hrs. People like @Alyska must understand it.
