The Bombay High Court on Friday, suspended Salman Khan’s five-year sentence in the 2002 hit-and-run case and granted him bail.
The superstar came out of his balcony, looking much more confident than he did on Wednesday, waved out to his supporters and did his ‘three finger Jai Ho wave’ – which is to help three people in need.
Salman also took to Twitter to thank his supporters and those who prayed for him.
“All those who prayed for and supported me thank u meherbani shukriya” he tweeted.

Meanwhile, Salman’s sister Arpita also thanked his fans “This wouldn’t have been possible without all your love, support & prayers. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts”
Soon after the High Court suspended Salman’s sentence, mass hysteria was witnessed outside his Galaxy Apartments in Bandra. Fans from different parts of Mumbai were singing, dancing, crying and some were even bursting crackers.
When Salman arrived home after filing for bail, there was chaos all over as the police couldn’t control the crowd gathering. The crowd dispersed only after Salman came out of his balcony, thanked his fans and asked them to leave.
Salman was seen with his father Salim Khan, mother Salma, brother Arbaaz and sister Arpita.
Earlier in the day, a Salman fan named G. Kundu, attempted suicide by consuming poison and distributed a purported suicide note outside the high court. He was rushed to a hospital. His condition is now stable.

But from Shaggy’s comment on Indicine that Salman Khan is the only star in India who has the highest fan following in India , I don’t agree with that at all .
