In the latest song from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani, the ace director makes his lead hero, who happens to the Maratha warrior Bajirao, dance to the tunes of ‘Malhari’.
The song is being called the ‘victory anthem’ as Bajirao and his army celebrate after trouncing their enemy.
In this high-octane traditional song, we see Ranveer Singh perfectly capture the victorious spirit of Bajirao. The song is sung by Vishal Dadlani to a tune composed by Bhansali himself.

Agree with @babaji BM songs are not up to the mark, I have only like Deewani Mastani song so far. I don’t like Gerua but Manma emotion is catchy song which become a dance chartbuster for sure and Best from Dilwale ‘Alvida’ song yet to come which will boost the dilwale buzz quite significantly.
Weekend collection of Dilwale will be higher than Lifetime collection of Bajirao mastani..

Heights of stupidity. Someone has to tell me that the guy who is dancing there is portrayed as a king, especially as a great warrior. He looks like a street fighter in the dance.
Did not expect this from SLB. Even if SRK was there in the movie, I would have commented the same. The movie is supposed to be classic one like Jodha Akbar ( at least that is what the team is projecting) but the dance movements and the words used in the song sounds very cheap and third rated.
I liked deewani mastani and even Pinga to some extent ( forgetting dolare) but this one is by no means a representation of a great warrior.Sorry SLB, u lost it

On the other hand dilwale both songs are chartbusters.I m playing on.loops manma emotion song since 3 days nd still enjoying.
Never liked this bandarveer singh but still want BM to embarrass hakluwale badly , i can see bhansali adding some massy elements to make it more commercial and less artful , may be his way of taking some cinematic liberties, BM would certainly give a tough competition to kongwale.
How embarassing would it be for our queen kong when his saviour deepika, the one with whom he had extra marital affair PC and the bollywood bandar ranveer when they beat the crap out of bakriwale lol :D :D
Choreography is good but the overall music album is not upto the mark..ram leela had awesome music which helped it create huge buzz and eventually open very well at the box office..everything in this film is looking like it will appeal only to maharashtran audience..the opening will also be nowhere close to ram leela..I wont be surprised if it opens below 10 crore
song lyrics are really pedestrian for a film on great warrior and after watching all these songs bm feels more like mockery on bajirao rather than his love story

As far as I know about the East, people with high positions do not dance (maybe I’m wrong about India, then I’m sorry). Simply there is a fact, in the 19th century the ambassador of the Ottoman Empire arrived to a royal ball. He was surprised! “Why you dance when for this purpose there are special people to entertain you by dance?”
