Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is back in town after celebrating New Year’s in Dubai. He will soon resume shooting for his keenly-awaited film ‘Raees’, where he plays the role of a Gujarati don.
Director Rahul Dholakia and his team have already begun shooting for the second schedule and Shah Rukh is expected to join the cast and crew soon.
Dholakia tweeted ”End of Day1 of 2nd schedule #Raees – long day, tiring, but at the end of it all a happy enthusiastic crew. Best. Can’t sleep. Have to be up at 3 am as we are rolling the first shot of #Raees second schedule at daybreak.”
Producer Ritesh Sidhwani tweeted “Started filming in 2016 with 2nd Schedule on #Raees… Happy New year twitterati”
Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Raees is scheduled to release in theatres during Eid this year. The teaser of the film has received a fantastic response and industry insiders say, the film has shaped up very well.
Shah Rukh had earlier said that Raees would be complete after about 10 days of shoot.

Dilwale v/s BM clash was stardorm v/s content thats why Dilwale lead BM till 2nd weekned then lost the domestic battle but Raees v/s Sultan stardorm v/s stardorm no chance to surive film if one has strong content others has one time watch entertainer.

Yes, they have not scurried the shooting (like Dilwale) . Final schedule will be commenced in January and then 5 months are more than enough for post production and editing work. Eid will be the best release date for Raees and if SRK/Excel postpone it, not only they will be proven as fools but they will play with belief of millions of die-hard fans.
I won’t boast about clash etc, I just want Raees to be released on Eid. That’s all.

We want at least 3 movies in a year from srk.. he is now 50, so within next 10 years we would love to see different genre as much as we can. srk should do science fiction movie/ adventurous movie/ collaboration with hollywood filmmakers.
