Krrish 3 has gone past the lifetime collections of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani in just 9 days. The film is now the 2nd highest grosser of 2013, only behind Chennai Express which collected Rs 227 crore when it released during Eid this year.
Enough though YJHD didn’t get a festive release, the Ranbir Kapoor – Deepika Padukone starrer released just after the 6th season of IPL. The first 3 days of Krrish 3 was affected by the pre-Diwali period, but since then there is simply no comparison between the two films.

Great newas for all K3 fans, K3 will surpass 200cr in 10 days Officially its Fantastic Figures, Great Going K3 now it seems K3 will cross 250cr Domestic collection if one believe in Producers figure.
as per Boi stands at 141cr Hindi collection and if we add 09-10cr regional than total is about 150cr.
but i am feeling sad for those SRK fans (not all) whowas very supportive for Official figure and they are now sticking to BOI, remeber as per BOI ce is a Blockbuster not ATBB. they are barking ce broke 3I records in 15days, now they are in the position as their king recently made records will shattered by ce in also in about 15-16days.poor morons
@yash i respect your thought as you are not a blind fan of a certain actor, but in box office if and but not matters, what matters is how you performed. Its doesn’t matter how many screens you got, how much competition you have or how much is ticket price because with each passing big films we are getting more screens, higher rate and footfalls in First week. whatever the reason both CE and K3 collected very great because still we have only 3 films till date who crossed 200cr mark in domestic though K3 Final collection is awaited and it might be collect 250cr+ officially.
Indcine posted comment in a reply of a question that BOI have not proper source of judging collection in small centers i am completely agree but for once if i agree than tell me why till 2010 this site published only BOI update figures, some are saying its a UK based site so you can’t agree with them, ok BUT question is not about sites or trade, the question is why so much difference in the Figure, why we don’t have a common source who judging the figure and give the correct figure yet in a one of the Biggest Film Industry like Bollywood, why we are taking collection and verdict from a site which is run by U.K., till yet we don’t have any source other than BOI who can provide exact figure of movies released before 2010. And if BOI is not able to reach smaller centers than how can we believe on the figure before 2010 showed by BOI is trustful. so give some ligic in answers first you are taking BOI into consideration, than change sources and follow producer’s, than you start to include regional collection into Domestic verdict determine collection and in future we can also witness some other changes with any Big movie, so a humble request please set your own prescribed method rather than varing with Airs.
Still amazed How a poor movie like YJHD grossed 189cr with non-holiday period and competition with YPD2,Fukrey,Raanjhana,Ghanchakkar each passing week, never the less For me the Best Romantic Film is Aashiqui2 this year and Best pair is Aaditya Rai Kapoor-Shridhha Kapoor.
srk,aamir always prefer to take new roles.look at there last 10 years career. akshay,ajay, salman are doing same role again and again.rk & hr also good actors but not as good as srk or aamir.
@haroonn1986 – Even 20-30 crores difference is too much and unacceptable. Max only 10 crores is acceptable. Inflated figures were given even during Ek Tha Tiger, Chennai Express and all other recent big films. Till 2010, there was hardly any difference between producers and BOI. It was only from 2012 that this rat race for records became dirty. Ra.One collected around 120 crores according to BOI (114 hindi + 5 dubbed tamil and telugu) and 124 crores according to Taran, Komal,Indicine (115 hindi, 9 dubbed) etc.(http://www.indicine.com/movies/bollywood/was-ra-one-a-hit-or-flop/). So problem started in 2012 with Ek Tha Tiger. Now it has snowballed. India immediately requires a central agency to keep track of collections. Else this dirty game will continue.

@haroon…..diff is 40 cr not 50….diff is becoz of boi,thats their mistake…u cant blame roshans just for a site….they gave bollywood a own superhero film,show a little respect man….even acc boi krish can touch 200 cr,141 cr in 9 day,today min 12cr nd weekdays 20 cr…so 173 cr in 2nd week…..20cr in 3rd week,193 cr in 3 week…10 cr minmum in rem day…total 203cr..with tamil its 211 cr….its not easy earn this amount with sci-fi superhero film….witr a rom-com movie its to much make money exmple grand masti….its possible only for roshans….in front of them outdated boi is nothing….so plz stop blaming roshans…..

small centres and I don’t think BOI has any sources to track
them…and other than BOI all other sources giving the
same results…actually distributors directly report to trade
analyst and producer so they are more accurate…
