Krrish 3 is proving to be unstoppable at the domestic box office. On Tuesday, the film collected Rs 26.26 crore net, taking it’s 5-day business to a mind-boggling total of Rs 134.87 crore. The Hrithik Roshan starrer has managed to collect an average of Rs 26.97 crore per day, even though it released during the dull pre-Diwali period.
More importantly, the word-of-mouth for the film, especially in smaller cities and towns, is absolutely fantastic. Kids are also taking to the film big-time, which explains just why the film hasn’t dropped below the 20 crore mark in its first 5 days (even if business from regional versions is excluded).
Krrish 3 Super Hit with the audience
Krrish 3 is now set to be the highest grosser of all time. The Hindi version of the film needs to collect around 100-101 crore to go past the lifetime business of Chennai Express.
- Friday – 25.2 crore
- Saturday – 23.2 crore
- Sunday – 24.3 crore
- Monday – 35.91 crore (holiday)
- Tuesday – 26.26 crore (holiday in some parts of the country)
- Total Collections – 134.87 crore (including Tamil and Telugu versions)

Box office says 101 crores and every site is saying 134 crores and not giving any breakup of regional versions……a difference of 33 crores in just 5 days…i am sure…….this difference will go up to 60-70 crores by the life time run……….good job done by the fake and paid ……..media ……..

Rakesh Roshan’s directorial venture “Krrish 3” has shattered “Chennai Express” five day record at domestic box office by earning ?134.87 crore.
“It’s a rocking Tuesday! #Krrish3 is on a record-smashing spree. Collects ? 26.26 cr. Total: ? 134.87 cr. AWESOME,” trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.
Shah Rukh Khan’s “Chennai Express,” which became the highest grossing film ever, minted ?124.54 crore in its five-day theatrical run, which includes paid previews.
“Krrish 3” which stars Hrithik Roshan in the lead role is setting records by making highest single day collection. Although, the film witnessed a drop on Tuesday, the business is still phenomenal.
The first weekend collections were low due to the Diwali festivities across the country, but it eventually picked up on Monday. On the other hand, “Chennai Express” had registered a huge drop in its collection on first Monday.
The collections from North and Central India have been exceptionally well especially on Monday. Single screens at several circuits are recording phenomenal collections as compared to multiplexes.
The five day breakup of “Krrish 3” and “Chennai Express” according to Taran Adarsh is:
Krrish 3: Friday ?25.5 crore, Saturday ?23 crore, Sunday ?24.3 crore, Monday ?35.91 crore and Tuesday 26.26 crore.
Chennai Express: ?6.75 crore on Thursday’s paid preview, ?33.12 crore on Friday, ?28.05 crore on Saturday, ?32.50 crore on Sunday, ?12.62 crore on Monday and ?11.50 crore on Tuesday.
The film has already crossed one milestone by surpassing the ?100 crore club in four days. With the current pace of “Krrish 3” should cross the ?150 crore mark by Wednesday.
If it rakes in ?150 crore by Wednesday then it would again break “Chennai Express” record, which took one week to surpass ?150 crore mark.
“Krrish 3” produced and directed by Rakesh Roshan is the third installment film after “Koi…Mil Gaya” “Krrish”. The target audience of the recently released film is mainly children and family audiences which is also one of the reasons why the film is earning huge amount at the box offices.
So, holidays are over, even Ra 1 collected 92cr within 5days on 3100 screen whereas K3 col 125cr on hindi with manipulation in 4100screen, not a big difference. Boi says 101cr, diwali disastar

If 2nd week is helpful then possibly yes concerning domestic box-office .. Worldwide of CE is unreachable for Hrithik .. there is a big difference between stardum of SRK and Hrithik! SRK is still king of bollywood .. Dhoom3 will break all the records.

FYI, Box Office India is not the only official Box Office Reporter, all the other sites run by trade experts themselves are also official website for Indian box office. Get your fact corrected. You can’t say that all other box office reports are fake and only Box Office India are true. Komal Nahta was in fight with Taran Adarsh and both work individually and collect information individually but yet their box office reports are the same. Besides other official reporters also report the similar amount and here only Box Office India showing different numbers so we can safely say that Box Office India is lying or have failed to collect actual information regarding Krrish 3 and all other films or they are lazy to collect all information from all the theaters in India. Whatever it is Box Office India is giving false information whether it’s intentionally or unintentionally.
