Box Office collections of Krish 3 has been made official with 243 collections, if you want proof of same refer any trade website apart from BOI. If you dont belive other trade websites , go and refer wikipedia and type Krish 3 collections …you will find out that the real collections is 243 Cr. Wikipedia themselves have stated that as per BOI it is 243 Crs. Thus it is almost proved that the colections (243 Cr) is real and not fake…

@raj: Before you question me on my understanding of the difference between Gross and Net collection, first tell me where did you people see the word “Gross” in the statement?? when you ask somebody about the collection of a movie, they will tell you the net figure! Gross figures are not mentioned when asking about Box Office Collection. So get your fact corrected. Now do you even understand the difference between gross and net figures?? if so, then you know yourself that even the gross worldwide collection of YJHD, Ek Tha Tiger is much more than 300 crore. If the worldwide gross collection of Krrish 3 was 295 crore, then the net collection figure of Krrish 3 from Indian domestic market would have been much less than 160 crore which doesn’t comply with the collection of BOI since their previously shown figure more than a week ago was 194 crore including all versions.
So don’t make people laugh on you on your imaginary claims!!!! BOI has shown their true colors by revealing the real collection of Krrish 3 silently there on that section. All knows that the fans of Khans belong to the low standard group of people in Indian. So don’t make people laugh on your true pictures!!

Indicine only said that they can’t track all the theaters where Krrish 3 was released due to such a huge released all over the country but even according to their estimation Krrish 3 collected 20 crore more than BOI shown. But yet they kept their finger crossed as it was just estimated figure. So once again it proved that BOI is not a real website to trust on.
Secondly Indicine aslo shown with pictures about how BOI keep changes the amount and the verdict of a movie with an example of Jodha Akber and Om Shanti Om. So by all means, BOI is not at all a reliable source no matter how you evaluate the website. It’s just as an website as many other different websites available on Internet. It was constructed in USA by an Indian who once had committed show real figures but their constant change on a film’s verdict and figures confirmed that it’s a fake one. It’s even considered to be a backdated website to talk about which doesn’t update properly. It shows their limitation as well to track the news regard BO information and Bollywood news!!

How Totals Are Compiled
The daily totals are compiled via daily total samples be it theatre totals or circuit totals which are compared with other films of similar nature to come out with a daily total. Although we try and make sure the total put up is accurate, sometimes it can be off the mark. This is because for some films there will be more data available and for and sometimes there is not a lot to go on which makes it difficult.
The weekly nett totals are complied through theatre collections and separating the circuits. A big circuit like Mumbai is segregated into 6 sections (Mumbai/Thane, Gujarat, Saurashtra, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Goa). A circuit total is formed by adding the collections of theatres and the ones which are not available an estimate is given using a film which performed similarly in the circuit. All the circuit totals are added and an all India total is formed. Estimating through individual theatre collections will give the most accurate total as independent city and circuit collections are incomplete most of the time with major theatres missing sometimes. This site only puts up city totals which are complete and all the theatres are added up. The weekly data has a much lower margin of error than daily data as theatre collection samples are much higher.
The figures on the website are not actual figures but estimates but these estimates are very close to the actual totals.
See the above line. They clearly say that the figures are not actual figures but just an estimate based on comparing the film with the similar nature film. So, in case of Krrish 3 wherever they couldn’t track the theatres, they just made an estimate based on CE. Now, this is nothing but just anybody’s guess. You cannot claim that it’s an official figure and BOI knows that and they accept also by saying that we just give an estimate.

Chennai Express was released in 700 screens in abroad while Krrish 3 was release on 500 screens in abroad and since SRGAY has huge fan following in abroad of Indian origins who are cleaning toilet and working as manhole cleaner have made Chennai Express a blockbuster in overseas which is why the overseas collection looks different than Krrish 3.

I dont know how BOI collect data bt i confirmed that BOI does not collect all data specially smaller centre. krrish3 biggest flat release and its worked fantastics on smaller centre during festive season.
Is Krrish 3 collections manipulated people r thinking so. Why would Rakesh Roshan do such a thing, is he a fool to pay taxes on the manipulated money which he hasnt earned. ADDATODAT::Krrish 3 Box Office Collection and Huge Variance Across Sections. Report!
Krrish 3 has done superb rocking business this November at the box office and there is no doubt about that and no one is pointing a single question mark on that. Krrish 3 not only broke some records on its way to be a big success, but also went to be one of the biggest Blockbuster in recent times. But problem is there is a huge difference in BO numbers of Krrish 3 and it is varied across section, trade and portals.
This problem always arises when there is a big film around the corner. Producers always over-quote numbers to announce their film as big/biggest success, whereas Distributors do the reverse for their own good. Hence, we see varied numbers as there are numerous portals today who are already box office numbers according to their own sources.
Problem started with films for example Rowdy Rathore, Ek Tha Tiger, Jab Tak Hai Jaan which figure varied across sites in the range of around 10 crores (nett) in India alone. Problem went one notch higher and with Chennai Express figure varied in the range of 17-18 crores (nett) in India alone. But Krrish 3 has surpassed all films and its figure is varying in the range of 55+ crores (nett) in India alone.
So, how a reader will trust which is the real box office collection of a particular film. How he will trust which site or trade analyst to follow.
Here is below example of how Krrish 3 box office number shown in various sites. We hardly display (promote) other sources figure, but since big numbers are weighing on Krrish 3 we have selected a few trusted or well known sources.
Below we have shown figures of Krrish 3 till the end of 3rd Week of various sites.
Boxofficeindia.com – 172 crore nett (Hindi) + 10 crore nett (Tamil + Telugu – In 17 days) – 182 crore nett (All Language).
Boxofficeindia.co.in (Trade Magazine) – 194.33 crore nett (Hindi). Have not quoted any numbers for Telugu + Tamil version. Say assuming another 10 crore for Telugu + Tamil version there number should be approx 204.5 crore nett.
Bollywoodhungama.com – Approx – 239.68 crore nett (All Language). Hindi Version per them should be approx 226-228 crore nett.
Addatoday.com – Around 216.5 crore nett (Hindi). Approx – 227.87 crore nett (All Language).
In case of Boxofficeindia they are quoting much lesser number of Krrish 3. As per our assumption Krrish 3 numbers are much higher than those they are mentioning. We don’t know which sources they are following, but only like to state that a lot of new screens are added up in India and one should keep track of all those, specially the interior ones, as Bollywood Business is booming there big time. It will be extremely unfair and injustice to give advise to team of BOI as they are doing great job of tracking box office business and hope they do it well in coming days also. We always give weightage to their box office numbers.
Coming to Bollywood Hungama or Mr. Taran Adarsh who is a Renowned Trade Analyst of that site. They are quoting figure of Krrish 3 which is directly taken from Krrish 3 makers this time. Taran Adarsh generally take producers figure bluntly, whereas there are few cases, where he cross checks makers number with distributors/sub-distributors and sometimes there is a variance in his numbers with makers. Recent example being Once Upon Ay Time in Mumbaai Dobara in which Taran and Producers numbers have a significant variance.
Another important trade analyst Mr. Komal Nahta has restrained from giving any box office number of Krrish 3 till now.
Boxofficeindia.co.in (Trade Magazine) has given Krrish 3 box office number till 3rd week as around 194+ crore nett for Hindi Version alone. That means Krrish 3 total should come around 204-205 crore nett as per them, when Telugu and Tamil version is included. Their figures are generally ok and trustworthy.
So, now point arises what is Krrish 3 actual numbers. Well, if variance is less say about 5-10 crores. Then there is not much of a big issue as that much variance is absolutely possible for a film doing business in 200 crore nett range. Actual is somewhere between 180-240 crore nett for Krrish 3.
Coming to us, we (Addatoday) have taken extended sample of Krrish 3 from various cinemas across all circuits for three weeks. Plus referring Producers, distributors, sub-distributors numbers for Krrish 3 we have come to figure of around 228 crore nett approx for Krrish 3 till end of third week. However we are keeping abreast of development in the box office numbers of Krrish 3 and will definitely report if there is any changes made in the figures.
Now it is upto you readers to follow whichever figure you want. Only thought is that be consistent with what you follow and believe that.
And finally Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra, Vivek Oberoi, Kangana Ranaut, Rakesh Roshan (Director) and Team Krrish 3 should be given much due credit and respect for the superlative success of their film at box office. Film has minted huge money and all are laughing their way to the bank.

dude the tax authorities are not allowed to take public statements as facts… so the producer wouldn’t have to pay taxes based on anything he says.. the only tax he will pay will be based on the account books of his company.. he can freely go around saying any figure he wants even saying the collections may be 1000 crs…

The veteran filmmaker said “Till Tuesday the all India net collection was Rs 237 crore (actuals till Tuesday Rs 236.52) while the international gross collections was Rs 54 crore. I don’t know about Krrish 3 breaking the records of Chennai Express but I know my figures and I feel elated.”
“We have put in so much of honesty and sincerity in the film. I am sure other films will break our records, but that doesn’t matter. It gives me an incentive to make better films, that’s all.”
“I’m not in a position to fudge the figures by Rs 40-50 crore. People don’t know the exact figures but I get all the figures from all over India in the morning. People just go by assumptions and know only 70% of box office while I know 100%. We opened at 4300 screens”
