Riding high on the success of the erotic thriller Murder 2, Jacqueline Fernandes has just signed the biggest movie of the career! That too at the cost of her alleged boyfriend – Sajid Khan’s film Housefull 2.
Apparently, Chitrangada Singh who was initially roped in to play the role of the female villain, wasn’t happy with the length of her role. Sources say, when the final script was given to Chitrangada it was more of a cameo than a lead role. The actress opted out and Jacqueline was singed on.
It wasn’t as simple as that though, as the dates allotted by Jacqueline to Krrish 3 coincided with those she had already committed to for beau Sajid Khan’s Housefull 2.
According to a Times of India source “After signing the film at Rakesh Roshan’s office in Andheri, Jacqueline came straight to Sajid’s house and broke the news to him. Initially, Sajid thought that she was joking. But when he saw that Jacqueline was serious, he understood that she had let her ambitions rule the roost”
“Sajid doesn’t know what he should do about Jacqueline’s scenes that she was supposed to shoot for in October and December and how he is expected to re-schedule dates of the other actors in the film to suit Jacqueline’s convenience. He is obviously feeling betrayed. Clearly, Jacqueline is a very ambitious girl. Krrish 2 stars Hrithik Roshan, who is a superstar. Moreover, Krrish is a brand. But, Sajid was the one who gave her the opportunity to feature in the item song in Housefull and resurrected her career after her two flops.”
Soon, the argument between the two, turned into a fight “The fight got very ugly and Jacqueline stormed out of Sajid’s house. Since then, the two of them have not spoken to each other”
We dont really know if this is exactly what happened, but committing your dates to one film and then allotting the same dates to someone else, isn’t exactly the best of professional ethics. But then, for an ambitious newcomer like Jacqueline, a role in a Hrithik Roshan film was probably too big an opportunity to miss out on.
Why all this interest in Krrish 3, for me it was a medicore attempt to bring indian superhero, it failed all the way and i believe it was Hrithik’s suckest film till date, why sequel?
