The advance booking of Krrish 3 first opened at 4 cinemas in Pune more than 2 weeks ago. Most other multiplex chains opened their counters for the superhero film last Saturday. The response has been phenomenal – as good or better than Chennai Express and Ek Tha Tiger.
Trade sources say, about 14-15 crore worth of tickets for the weekend were sold in advance by Wednesday night itself.
Below we have reports from several cities across the country
Mumbai: More than 90 multiplexes in the city are screening the Hrithik Roshan starrer, with most screening the film on 14-15 screens. In Mumbai city alone, Krrish 3 will have more than 1200 shows on its opening day. This is a humongous number that is about the same as last year’s Ek Tha Tiger which had a much shorter runtime. Even though about 40% of tickets have been sold in advance, it shouldn’t be difficult to purchase tickets on Friday morning.
Delhi NCR: Huge release and plenty of shows in the NCR region too. Few morning shows sold out, the advance for the rest of the day and weekend is pretty good too. About 30-35% ticket sold here for the opening day.
Kolkata: Advance booking is much lower than Chennai Express here. Tickets are easily available for Day 1, select few show sold out. Could be because Friday is a working day.
Bangalore: The advance booking is very good here. Its a holiday in Karnataka for Rajyosava and business from the Mysore circuit should be very good.
Mangalore: Two theatres in the coastal city. Morning shows almost sold out, advance for the day very good. Again, holiday here.
Hyderabad: Excellent advance booking here, probably the best for any city in India. Many shows sold out, others have 80% booking for Friday
Tamilnadu: Krrish 3 has got limited screens due to the release of Ajith’s Arrambam. Business will be affected here, the advance booking is decent.
Uttar Pradesh: Very good advance booking in India’s most populous state. Cities like Lucknow and Kanpur are likely to put up excellent figures on Day 1.
Overall, the advance booking is very good across the country. The pre-release reports were excellent initially but with more people watching the film its getting mixed responses, which is always the case with big budget films with unrealistically high expectations.
So far, ?#?Krrish3? is the most acclaimed film this year. Same score as ‘The Lunchbox’- Indicine

I think if k3 first day will be historic more than 30cr better than ce 29.2 cr and Ett 30.75cr with semi holiday. Its great and i think it will be great movie and will give new definition to bollywood. @nipun you said Aamir fans are giving negative comments so shame on them. Tell me why you also reading all post regarding Aamir and D3 you had seen so much negative comments about Aamir and d3, at that time you not even giving any meaningful comments against Any Hr fan than why you expect respect from each and every fans of Aamir for k3 & hr. Be patient if movie is good no one can harm its faith.

Well, I think it has got a very positive response from the critics.
As far as opening is concerned, it should be 2nd biggest opener of the year, and top-3 of all-time along with CE & ETT. Even 40 crore opening was possible had Friday been a national holiday, but it might just come short of CE and ETT because of the working day. (Although, it has some outside chances of crossing 30+ crore)
I can hardly wait to watch it tomorrow!

As Indian films releases in our country one day earlier ( on Thursday) and in India ( on Friday) saw I went today to the cinema and watched it.. couldn’t wait to see it and it was as I expected.. a well made film, 2 nice songs specially ( Dil Tuhi Bhata).. Kangana Ranut looked beautiful in this film although she’s in a Villain role but she was the heart of the film in fact.. her role was much more important than Priyanka Chopra. Overall it’s a good film, but different than Krrish 2 and Koi Mel Gaya.. Krrish 2 had more nice songs 5 or 6 with some funny scenes ( guys and girls.. there’re no comedy scenes in this film at all) and this one is like Hollywood films, superman, etc.
I wish Hrithik all the best with his film and I think if it did very well at the box office, so there will be Krrish 4 for sure!
really disappointed after watching dis movie . hritik is best but whole movie is copied of many Hollywood movies.infact starting scene of hritik saving aeroplane is copied same to same from superman man of steel.

Watch or Not? For films with such humongous hype, this section of the review is just a mere formality. However, in my opinion Krrish 3 is a zestful effort from its makers to offer us a world class superhero flick. But sadly, it all goes in vain for me. The shabby acting, pathetic dialogues, over the top melodrama and zero presence of screenplay could have been ignored but what remains unforgivable is its unoriginal sequences. It was hard to find one scene that has no relation whatsoever with any previous superhero or sci-fi film. The lack of novelty is gravely dissatisfactory as the film has absolutely nothing to flaunt except their gusto to try something spirited of this magnitude!
these srk fans are getting insecure day after day.. on k3 page they are spreading negativity about k3 n on d3 page they are spreading negativity against d3.. they are trying their best so that these 2 films dont break CE’s record.. too bad CE’s record gonna be thrashed twice this year.. 4 din ka king.. look at the face of these srk fans, they are already sulking :D .. why dont u guys watch crap CE n leave worldclass films like k3 n d3 to us :)
