Kick has collected Rs 14.18 cr on Sunday to take its second weekend total to 34.02 cr. The all India 10-day total now stands at 198.23 crore, just about 1.5 cr lesser than Salman Khan’s highest grosser Ek Tha Tiger. Kick is all set to break into the 200 crore club today.
Early reports from theatres on Monday suggests that the film has held up strongly. Monday business is likely to be in the 5 crore range, which is huge! If Kick manages to hold strongly over the remaining weekdays, it could collect anywhere between 215-218 crore before the release of Akshay Kumar’s Entertainment on Friday.
The response to ‘Entertainment’ will decide if Kick can go on to cross the 250 crore mark – which is still a possibility, but 235-240 looks more realistic at this stage.
