Salman Khan’s Kick has picked up across the country on its second Sunday at the box office. The increase in occupancy from Saturday is around 30-35%. The film has collected Rs 19.84 crore in the first two days of its 2nd weekend, and is on course to collect around 13-14 crore today.
Heavy rainfall affected the first week business in Mumbai circuit (including Gujarat where it was raining heavily last week). The downpour has reduced quite considerably today, which has resulted in higher occupancy in theatres. There are also reports that it hasn’t rained in Gujarat on Sunday.
In Rajasthan, the response to Kick has been phenomenal, what with the film collecting Rs 13.35 crore in 9 days. In comparison, the lifetime collections of Jai Ho in Rajasthan was Rs 7.87 crore, Dabangg 2 collected Rs 9.73 crore and Ek Tha Tiger collected 11.3 crore.
In less than a week, Kick was the highest grossing Salman Khan film in Rajasthan and will be the 2nd highest grosser in the circuit – as it should finish with about 15% lower collections than Dhoom 3, taking the entertainment tax (effective from August) into consideration. Kick fetched the highest ever price in Rajasthan, and most of the investment was recovered in the first week itself.
Like we first predicted on Thursday, Kick will beat Ek Tha Tiger and enter the 200 crore club on Monday.

Final collection 220 cr… Fails to beat ce by 8.50 cr… One thing to notice here is every eid release has collected more than last eid with kick failing to beat ce which clashed with 3 movies each week. I want fan vs bajrangi clash
Watched Kick today. Initially i thought that the movie wouldn’t be that good but as i have watched it today i have to say that it was total paisa vasool. I don’t give any stars or anything but this movie is highly entertaining. Don’t see for logic and all that and you will enjoy the movie , and only Salman Khan can pull this kind of movie. The performances were good by all and today the occupancy in the theatre is very good. I saw this movie in Noida today and the seats were almost full. At last see it those who have not seen it yet.
excellent collection against all odds and problem…nice to know it has gone past all the movies including k3…it is sure to cross CE inno time….salman the second biggest movie after D3 ….but the biggest super star of all time…

looking to be a 225cr finish.. yes movie could have done 10-15cr more but thats pure business,highly unpredictable as we say but anyways in present times 225cr is still a handsome amount which only to movies have surpassed ce and d3.i wont include rohit 3 here because of fake figures.
PS- fans of every actor give unrealistic high predictions be it salmans srks or hrithiks but we must always know dhoom series is one of the biggest brands existing and every next movie in the series is going to samash all previous records whether it stars a salman or an srk.. with the finasse and technique in movie making and marketing yash raj the biggest banner of bollywood are sure to take this series to next highs.

Kick is rock solid. I guess most of us underestimated it for second week. I am from B’lore n currently in Panjim (Goa) watching Kick here at Inox (my 4th time). It is 80% full with audience. Salman, The Megastar !!!!!!!!!
