Salman Khan’s continued its glorious run at theatres across India, as the film collected Rs 9.22 cr on its second Friday at the domestic box office. The film has now collected Rs 173.43 cr in 8 days, at an average of Rs 21.67 per day!
The film is on course to collect around 35 crore in its second weekend and should cross the 200 crore mark on Monday. It could go on to beat the lifetime business of Chennai Express (Rs 227 cr), which released in theatres during Eid last year.
The second week business of Chennai Express was affected by the release of Akshay Kumar’s Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobaara. Kick will also be competing against an Akshay starrer, as Entertainment hits theatres next week.

@Sickrum and others, Kick’s screens have been reduced in the second week. On a serious note, Teesmaar Khan’s Ocean’s 11 remake edited by Joker Kunder won’t be able to go past 160 Crores even if it is released in 10,000 Screens. But the exhibitors do not have faith in the stardom of the sarkar of 3.7 Billions fans worldwide. So, I don’t think it will have that many screen space for a film of a fading star. Besides, hardly will anybody be watching a crap film after the story driven films like Marykom and Haider and a Hollywood level film like Bang Bang. Who will like to eat baasi tarkari (rotten veges) after the fresh ones?

but Roshans fooled people that K-3 gross is nett. CE was the most trending movie of last year and even YJHD had higher buzz.
K-3 was boring and had no comedy and had nothing worth watching except some good fx. How can it outgross CE? It was a laugh riot and fully enjoyable film and loved more than K3. It is clear 244 cr figure is fake. Due to Roshans malpratice it has made boxoffice figures unreliable and destroyed all the fun.

U and even some other sites published an article on how much prices kick was sold…clearly u all have mentiond it that it has been sold on as much high prices as D3 shares so it will b very difficult for kick to b declared as clean hit and nw on 163 cr u r saying bb….wht is this????? @Farhan, if KICK finished at 160 cr.. it wouldn’t be a blockbuster. But early verdicts are given based on trends. Ek Tha Tiger collected around 63 crore after its first week, so even if the drops are bigger than ETT, Kick will collect 220 cr = Blockbuster.
For films that perform very poorly, verdicts can be given as early as on Day 2 if there is no growth.
As for Jai Ho, it had to collect atleast 135-140 cr to be declared a clean hit.

Moronic khanfans, nobody have the proof whether roshans have manipulated or not. But everybody is barking over them,many the people with low iq and low analytical mind. They believe in whatever the media creates. The fake 400 crs case of sussane is the biggest example of it. And that guy@yuvraaj’s mind is like yuvraaj movie’s verdict i.e disaster. If they really want such things,they would have already done it with KNPH,KMG,Krrish and kites. The former three were never the all time highest grosser. They would have easily done. Again,kites was their ambitious project,still they admitted flop verdict. I don’t think anyone can manipulate upto 60 plus crores. If somebody believes in that, then i have to say that one fella is a fool.
