Ki and Ka has done well in its first week at the box office. The film starring Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead, did well in its first weekend and remained steady during the weekdays. It has also recorded the 3rd highest first week collections in 2016, behind films like Airlift and Kapoor and Sons.
Ki and Ka has already recovered all its investment from theatrical business, as the film has also performed well in the overseas markets. The question is now going to be about the film surpassing the 50 crore mark, which would depend on how well it performs in its second weekend.
Today is a holiday in several parts of the country for Udagi, this should give the collections a boost. Ki and Ka is competing with the Hollywood film ‘The Jungle Book’ at multiplexes this weekend.

Ki & Ka isn’t officially a HIT as you said it needed 45+ cr to become a clean hit. I think it will struggle to sustain vs Jungle Book (the WOM is surely gonna be strong) and then FAN will end its run. 50 cr seems pretty hard to cross, don’t you think Indicine ?

Coincidentally, I, too, have been following Indicine since the release of Wanted. Once, I typed on Google to find out BO performances of Wanted, it directed me to Indicine. I liked it; and have become a loyal visitor and been following since then.
Hence, along with the growth, I have witnessed some changes in Indicine discouraging even its regular visitors.
