Also remember for multiplex oriented film reviews start effecting occupancy as early as evening show of 1st day. The reviews r terrific so far and adv booking is reasonable. even in worst case the movie will collect 40 odd crores and would safely recover its cost
I believe kapoor and sons can collect anything , it can even go on to become a blockbuster or it might just be a 45 crore above avg grosser but a successful venture
Btw two year back sid released ek villain which was actually a record opener for youngistan film not featuring deepika padukone (besharam released on 2nd oct after successful yjhd) , so things do change very quickly in bollywood because on papers kapoor and sons is a much bigger project but it will fail to match even half of ek villain’s opening numbers
Acc to me, the opening day will be atleast 7-8 cr.

So have to go through movies like Kapoor n Sons, Rocky Handsome and Ki n Ka to reach till FAN. Difficult to find any interest in
any of the three movies. Wish there were better movies releasing during this period to make the wait for Fan easier.

What about money spend on promotions(p & a cost). It shud be 15 Cr at least. So the overall budget would be around 55 Cr. So movie needs atleast 60 Cr to earn the clean hit tag.
