The makers of ‘Kaabil’ are gearing up for a big launch of the theatrical trailer of the film on 26th October (10AM IST). After a teaser and a poster that was well-received, we have one motion poster and one static poster that has been released today.
What stands out in the motion poster is the haunting background music by Salim – Sulaiman. All combined, the team behind Kaabil has managed to raise the curiosity.
A solid and impactful trailer is going to be very important as the competition for Hrithik Roshan, this time around, comes from Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees. It’s his third consecutive clash.

Kaabil has Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam in the lead. The film has been directed by Sanjay Gupta. Kaabil is slated to release in theatres on 26th January 2017.

@neeraj, Before MD it looks like Baahubali, scale-wise MD is the biggest movie of 2016, hrithik is fantastic actor, MD is directed by critically acclaimed director, from the fame of Lagaan, jodha akbar but after the release it tanked at B.O.

@Neeraj, coming back to your question about Fan’s failure. First of all it wasn’t the decision of SRK sir to release it in such a dull period like 14th April where movies don’t earn much unless it is extremely well enough. It was hypocritical YRF’s decision to release in April in order to pressurize SRK to postpone Raees and they did succeeded in their ugly plot. They postponed Fan under the pretext of never before Seen VFX. It was postponed just exactly at the same time when Raees was announced for Eid 2016 release. I had said that Fan Should come after Eid as it would be extremely risky For SRK. Ask from indicine team they remember my comments regarding this …!!!!!!
* secondly SRK was surrounded by the negativity of becoz of intolerance comment. Dilwale was also affected by the intolerance statement. People chose Bm over Dilwale . Despite protests, so much hatreds SRK still it opened double as compared to MD lol.

My expectations for Kaabil are somehow up after this poster. But still Raees looking bigger.
HR plays a disabled person, so it might won’t be an out and out entertainer like Agneepath, Bang Bang, K3 and MD. Whereas Raees has a lead here. There’s Sunny Leone too, to pull the crowd.
And at last SRK is still bigger star than Hrithik.
When indicine predicted 190 crore for MD before its trailer, hrithik fans said that indicine u would be proven wrong as MD will easily cross 250 crore, 400 crore etc.

They don’t want to postpone coz budget of Kaabil isn’t too much. It really hurts me when Raees should come as a solo release but it doesn’t. Roshans claim and talking about ethics etc as if they have owned 26 January as if it has become their paternal property.
If Raees wasn’t supposed to come on January 26 ,then jolly 2 would come on the same date. Can’t u see that it was announced on 12th of February becoz two big were coming on January 26. So they decided to release it two weeks after republic day.
