During times of negativity and the so-called ‘intolerance’ debate, Akshay Kumar comes up with a film that couldn’t have been timed better. ‘Airlift’ is a film that makes you feel proud of a country like India.
As India celebrated its 67th Republic Day, Akshay tweeted a picture holding the national flag and tweeted “Just holding this flag swells up ur chest in pride. She did what no other country did for its people #HappyRepublicDay”
The superstar’s latest release ‘Airlift’ has collected Rs 72.5 crore at the box office and recorded its best collections of Republic Day.

Still u dont want to fall down into the category of akshay’s cheap fans so I still have guts to apologize for my previous comment which I found not right. I respect him gor doing a movie like airlift but I was long time disappointed for him no longer being citizen of India and still he made this statement then I just questioned why he became citizen of Canada? That’s all.
