Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 2 has shown good growth in business over the weekend – showing jumps of 53% from Friday to Saturday and 14% from Saturday to Sunday.
The occupancy on Sunday dropped quite considerably towards the end of the day, as the film looked like it would get closer to the 8 crore mark at the beginning of the day.
Jolly LLB 2 has collected Rs 95.44 crore in 10 days at the box office. It’s the 3rd highest grosser of the year at the moment, but will become the 2nd highest grosser – behind Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees – by the end of its 2nd week.
Jolly LLB 2 is looking at a 110 – 115 crore finish. The lifetime business will be similar to Akshay films like ‘Housefull 2’ and ‘Holiday: A Solider Is Never Off Duty’.

@jaz Raees collected 165.58 cr domestic and 90 cr (13.5 million USD) overseas and that’s a fact. Nobody cares for trade figures. It stays for a day or two. and when the trade itself is so divided that every individual is giving his own figures, then you know that these guys cannot be trusted. I would have trusted these figures if they would have come from a standard or credible source like Rentrak.
As far as indicine figures are concerned, they have already received so much backslash that they went back to producer figures. Don’t you think its strange how indicine has picked up a handful movies and reported them as fake/inflated collections when they themselves in an article said that inflation happens even for the smaller movies at the lowest levels?
I now rarely visit this website and the reason is I am very disappointed with the negativity they are spreading against some actors? Forget Raees and Kaabil, they haven’t even reported the details of Ittefaq remake when the shooting has already begun.
I have been following this site for 5 years and from being a neutral to positive site for all actors, this site is more into doing chamchagiri for Salman, Aamir, Akshay from the senior group and Ranveer Singh and Varun Dhawan from the junior lot.
