Jolly LLB 2 has sustained well at the box office and passed the crucial Monday test. The collections are a little below the 7 crore mark and closer to 6.5 crore. Mass-centres showed bigger drops on Monday, while multiplex business remained steady inspite of reduced ticket prices.
A better performance at single-screens, especially in the north and central parts of India, would’ve given the film a slightly bigger total – in the range of 7.5 crore, which would’ve been an excellent hold, giving the film a chance to go well beyond the 100 crore mark.
A single-screen theatre in the North, which collected 68,490 on Friday (698 admits on 5 shows), has collected 27,950 (291 admits on 5 shows). The occupancy at the theatre has dropped from nearly 45% on Friday to 19% on Monday. At multiplexes the hold was better, with most centres showing collection (not occupancy) drops in the range of 40-45%.
Jolly LLB 2 will get a small boost from Valentine’s Day today. It isn’t a holiday and neither has the love angle been extensively promoted. In 2014, a rejected film like ‘Roy’ took advantage of Valentine’s Day and in 2016, ‘Fitoor’ was outright rejected but the business of ‘Sanam Re’ did show some jump. The last film to really take advantage of the period was ‘Gunday’ which released on Valentine’s Day in 2014 and took a excellent opening.
It remains to be seen if Jolly LLB 2 can better its Monday collections or sustain at the same level on Tuesday.

- Friday - 12.65 crore
- Saturday - 16.50 crore
- Sunday - 19.25 crore (approx)
- Monday – 7 crore (approx)
- Total in 4 days – 55.4 crore

@Mahesh but Robot 2 is not Bollywood film its a Tollywood film ,hiring a Bollywood actor to play the villain and featuring One of the Biggest name in South Rajnikant;! Don’t fool yourself the Hindi version will not even cross Bajirao Mastaani so forget Dangal.

That day, you will realize what a MONSTER BLOCKBUSTER it is. yes rajnikanth is india’s biggest superstar- godly in south and zero in north. Akshay will ensure success of hindi version. and there are 2 crowdpullers in indian cinema bigger than rajnikanth himself, namely rajamouli and shankar shanmukh. This guy , shankar shanmukh could make films beyond your wildest imaginations. and now he got a bollywood superstar and a 400 crore budget… now its just the tip of iceberg . i suggest you to watch hum se hai muqabala , hindustani , ajooba song from jeans , aparichit , or the trailer of his latest film I movie

@JC so called foot falls doesnt matter. BB having more foot falls than pk sounds like a joke. Everyone considers pk and dangal as top 2 movies of the decade and BB aa 3rd best. Just because u are salman fan doesnt mean you envy aamir so much. Even if BB had no competition from baahubali still it wouldnt have made any difference and would have earned maybe 5-7 cr more which would be 325 cr. So even then it wouldnt beat pk. And even if it had more foot falls than PK, then dangal overtook BB’s foot falls by big margin and it is the most watched movie in multiplex era since gadar and left BB way behind even in terms of foot falls. Had Bajrangi bhaijaan starred much bigger star like aamir khan than its foot falls would have been more than 7 crores. But sadly it has smaller star so its foot falls stopped at 3.5 crores.
