Big announcement! Akshay Kumar’s next, initially scheduled for theatrical release on 31st August, has been postponed by two weeks. The film now arrives on September 14th, the same day as Madhur Bhandarkar’s ambitious Heroine starring Kareena Kapoor!
Considering the fact that Akshay Kumar is on a career-high with the success of Housefull 2 and Rowdy Rathore, Heroine might find it tough to find enough screens at multiplexes.
The clash might just be averted though, as UTV Motion Pictures is associated with both Joker and Heroine. Stay tuned for updates!

even if both these films did clash, heroine would still do better as it is an experiment that has very little chances of going wrong. joker is a huge experiment like ra. one (couldve easily flopped if not a holiday release like joker), kites and guzaarish. if u look at anyy well made women centric film (which heroine undoubtly will be) such as fasion, the dirty picture, kahaani, no one killed jessica they have all done extremely well and this trend will continue with heroine. plus its a madhur bhandarkar film who is extremely talented in realistic films. (and u musnt say that jail was a flop because for one jail type of flop he has a fashion page 3 etc etc type of hit) joker will also do well but only if accepted which we will find out after the trailer is released because it is a huge experiment and if not accepte,d the film could b one of the bigggest disasters in recent times.
