There were speculations that Joker will clash with Salman and Katrina’s Ek Tha Tiger. But fortunately for both films, the release date has been announced and Joker will release on 30th August But, Shirish tweeted “joker is releasing two weeks after Ek Tha Tiger. Don’t worry, not clashing, would never do that.”
The movie is in the last stage of filming and is about 75% complete. Shirish has chalked out the plan for the next 10 months. The shooting is scheduled to complete in the next 15 days. Six months have been allotted for the 3D effects and two months for the film’s promotion.
Akshay has been missing ever since the failure of Patiala House earlier this year. He has been busy shooting for his upcoming releases – Rowdy Rathore, Housefull 2 and Joker. His last release for the year Desi Boyz is all set to release on November 25th.
