Salman Khan’s Jai Ho has beaten last year’s Republic Day release Race 2. As a result, the film is now the second highest Republic Day weekend grosser after Hrithik Roshan’s Agneepath which released in 2012.
Race 2 was a sequel to a popular film, featured popular stars like Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. The film also had 2 holidays in its first weekend (Republic Day and Sunday). Jai Ho, however, was only riding on the star power of Salman Khan.

Give Salman 5000 screen in overseas

Salman khan doomed coz muslim fans boycotted him as he started licking modi…. Jai ho was the best movie of salman khan since hum aapke hai kaun. But in todays time only weekend collections matter, based on that rest of the publoc decides whether to watch it or not…. Salman , do public apology to all muslims otherwise you will be doomed in kick also..
Again I must ask why such articles are relevant…? Are we trying to appease lungiwalas..? Bring them n their multiple usernanes back into the sute to atteact more hits…?
Indicine we didnt get such articles during Christmas or Diwali comparing the previous 3 yrs Diwali/ Xmas releases…? Wonder why…? Maybe it would highlight the fact that Sarkar wasnt on top but yet on EID we were given 1234 articles about this hourly record, that circuit record, this new record set in Papau New Guinea, new wknd record in North Korea, new 2nd wednesday record in Nizam, highest day record in Neverland, biggest grosser ever in Paglapur etc etc etc…
I can’t even imagine how luntatic some people are to say that Jai Ho didn’t beat the collection of Agneepath, Barfi, Ra.One etc etc. First of all, Jai Ho hasn’t fisnished its run yet. Secondly, Did Agneepath, Barfi, Ra.One etc beat the collection of Ready? Why do they like to single out only a film?
Some questions to the people trying to drag down the business of Jai Ho,
Even when Jai Ho flops (which won’t happen now), who will be affected badly?
1) The producers of Jai Ho have already made a fat profit.
2) Salman’s Stardom will no way be affected by this. When Ra.One was proven to be a debacle, did SRK’s stardom fall to the level of Bobby Deol, Nahin Na? Because they are established stars.
3) It won’t also be a fact that the distributors will pay less amount for his upcoming films. And you know the reason.
Hence, why are trying to make the distributors and the exhibitors (that earn their livelihood by that means) face their end in red? What have they done to you? Ask yourself!
Besides, it’s time for SRK Fans stopped deliberately bashing Salman Khan now. Suhana Khan is a Salman Khan fan. Because of her constant emphasising, SRK family watched Salman’s last two films (Dabangg 2 and Jai Ho) in their home. What do you say now, SRKians?? Suhana is a brat????
All the best to Jai Ho and wish the distributors and exhibitors do not lose their money. And I am pretty confident that Jai Ho will emerge as a clean HIT!

Jai Ho is a disappointment at the box office. I wish Salman the very best for his next movie KICK. I hope after Jai Ho he never gives chance to flop actors like Aditya pancholi, Ashmit patel etc. and flop director Sohail Khan.
