There has been a flurry of new release date announcements today. After ‘Bombay Velvet’ and ‘The Shaukeens’, Ranbir Kapoor’s Jagga Jasoos too has been pushed to a later date.
The film, which marks the reunion of the ‘Barfi’ actor-director duo of Ranbir Kapoor and Anurag Basu, will release on August 28th 2015 – two weeks after Shahrukh Khan’s FAN which is scheduled to arrive in theatres a day before India’s Independence Day.
Jagga Jasoos is supposedly about a teenage detective (Ranbir) who searches for his missing father (Govinda) with the held of his love (Katrina Kaif).
The shooting schedule of the film will be wrapped up late this year or early 2015.
