The music of Jab Tak Hai Jaan brings together several legends of Indian cinema. It’s the collective effort of Oscar winning music composer A R Rahman, with lyrics by another Oscar winner Gulzar and veteran director Yash Chopra, whose movies have always been known for it’s music. Every track from his last film, Veer Zaara, was a gem.
What’s also adding to the excitement is the presence of Shahrukh Khan. Much like Yash Chopra, SRK’s songs too have been consistently good over the last two decades.

So hrithik as vijay dinanath chauhan was presented in a completely different way. Nobody repeats failures. While amitabh’s don was a big success so changes were not required in its 2006 remake. And salman has always been in controversies, nobody kept away aamir from doing films, nobody stopped ajay nd akshay from doing romantic films… Truth is they both r industry’s biggest flop stars they tried everything, did romantic roles but it dint work for them. They tasted success with comedy years after they began their career.

Two things I can surely say …
1]Positive or not, anything with SRK surely gets attention, that is the greatest achievement on its own ..
2]The Stakes on JTHJ are well in the positive ark, unlike his previous 3 hit movies – MNIK, Ra.One, Don, which all were in a doubtful category in terms of success, JTHJ clearly has ATBB or leastly BB written all over it …
