Arrest warrant against Preity Zinta

Preity Zinta - Abbas TyrewalaA metropolitan magistrate’s court in Andheri, Mumbai has issued a non-bailable warrant against Bollywood actress Preity Zinta in connection with a cheque bouncing case.

The case was filed by ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’ director Abbas Tyrewala, who was credited as the dialogue writer for Zinta’s disastrous home-production ‘Ishkq In Paris’.

Apparently, Abbas was forced to file a complaint after a cheque of Rs 18.9 lakh issued by Preity wasn’t honoured by her bank.

“The court has issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against Preity Zinta on Thursday. We will move the court to cancel the warrant or we will move to the Bombay high court and file a writ” said Preity’s lawyer Ratneshwar Jha.

Her lawyer also confirmed that the actress is currently out of the country.

  • What I heard was that Priety zinta is a brave and strong person. Hope she overcome this situation and comeback strongly. Why would Abbas Tyrewala went to police instead of sorting the issue with her directly

  • when will the arrest warran tof criminal salman khan out???…..he has killed an innocent person ..and still roaming like a normal person…..who will give justice to the family of that person????…….he spend only 2 weeks in jail and came out of his money power……INDIAN LAW A JOKE?????……..IS IT A TOY TO PLAY WITH???

  • well, these could have been mutually resolved instead of all the drama.

what can you expect of a film when tyrewalla writes dialogue, chaiwala is the actor, daruwala is the producer, batliwala is the editor. lol.

infact tyrewala should return back the money for writing flop dialogues for the movie.

puncture kar do uske tyre ko. lol

  • rs. 18 lakh is too much fee for dialogues mr. abbas should also take some responsibility of the losses of the film and settle amicably
