Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, produced by Aamir Khan, has done extraordinary business in Week 1 and the collections on Friday (Week 2) was a brilliant 90% + in many centres.
The movie made on a limited budget, without any stars to carry the movie, is a winner all the way at the box-office. The first week collections are about 20 crores and what’s more the second week could actually be even better! More shows at multiplexes and more prints in the second week could mean a marginal drop in the second week. Remember big movies usually drop by around 40% in the second week.
Imraan Khan could not have asked for a better start to his career. This is the biggest debut since Hrithik Roshan’s in the year 2000! A new star is born. For Genelia D’Souza, a star down south, who has struggled so far in Bollywood, this is a huge break. Not just the lead cast, the success of Jaane Tu has done wonders to every member connected to the movie. Abbas Tyrewala will be a director to look out for in the future, his next movie will no doubt be keenly anticipated. The supporting actors too are getting huge appreciation for their performances.
Overall, Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na is a success story that will be remembered for a long time.

Maybe poor Harman Beverage should change his last name to Harman Khan..then he might have some success..havent seen either of the movies but will probably see the Jaane tu movie. as for harman, another one-film flop actor, sad thing is people hate him and that means he doesnt have charisma the ONE thign that makes a star. harman haar gaya.

Kuch cheje ho jati hai or aap lakh kosis kariye wo dobara nahi hoti “jane tu ya jane na” kuch vaishe hi hai.Sayad itne achi movie frnds jaise topic par kabhi nahi ban sakti.Har taraf se perfect. Song,story,music,acting sab kuch perfect.Mujhe hritick roshan pasand hai magar Imran ne jo acting kar di wo sayad pure bollywood me koi na kar pata.Geneila she is gorgeos .Or inke dost bums, rotlu,sherlin &Gegnes all r bst.Meghna is also so cute.

The movie is simply awesome..very light hearted and joyful movie..i saw the movie 6 times nd i jst cnt gt enough of it..imran has a very bright future nd as for genelia..god shes so sweet..im totally in love wth tht girl..vry vry sweet..all of u who didnt c it as yet plz go nd c it..im sure u will love it too..nd as for who didnt like the movie all i can say is u ppl have a very very bad choice..
