Here’s a quick update and review on IndicineLBO, where we predict the lifetime box office collections of upcoming films.
Welcome Back: Anees Bazmee’s sequel to the 2007 film ‘Welcome’ opened very well at the box office and showed excellent growth in business in its first weekend. There were expectations that it would go on to be a massive hit at the box office. The film passed the ‘Monday test’ but business started dipping during the remaining weekdays. ‘Welcome Back’ is set to finish with lifetime business of around 100 crore, which is about 16% off the mark. Inaccurate.
Hero: Salman Khan went all out to promote ‘Hero’ and the two debutants, but the audience has rejected the film after a fairly good opening day. Last year’s Heropanti finished with lifetime business of 51 crore, Hero will end with net box office collections of 35 crore. LBO prediction was 38 crore. Accurate.
Katti Batti: Nikhil Advani’s poor run is likely to continue with his second back-to-back release ‘Katti Batti’. The makers used Aamir Khan to promote the promote the film, but like Salman Khan the previous week, the result will be the same. In fact, looking at the trends and the star cast (Kangana Ranaut after ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’), Katti Batti will be the bigger loser. Our prediction: 24 cr.

If we delete shahrukh aamir and salman = Flopistan…example 2015….200 releases only 5 movies will make some success (without khans)…………so to save bollywood khans should do atleast 4 movies an year…EID , Chrismiss, Diwali, 2 Oct….all these dates should never been wasted on akshay ajay ritik or others…..THIS IS IN THE BEST INTREST OF BOLLYWOOD 2 SURVIVE

Its nice to see the critics rating & boxoffice collection of a Movie which script is changed according to the wish of so called media hyped Perfacketionist and approved by him after the wait of 1 and half year.
i dont want any debate but the trust is if Lagaan, Rang De Basanti, 3 Idiots & Pk are considered as classics they all because of their Writers & Directors. Otherwise Mela, Mann, Talaash, Dhobi Ghat are also selected by Aamir. Gajni benefits coz of remake of Blockbuster & A. R. Muragadoz, Dhoom-3 takes advantage of Powerful franchise & YRF.
It does not mean that Aamir is not a good actor or not a popular star. He is One of Good Actors now a time and have great fan following. But i have objection about calling him perfectionist. No he is not perfect. He is a normal human u had made good n bad decisions.
