It’s time for the first clash of the year. Fortunately, the target audience of the two films are different and both are unlikely to affect each others business.
Airlift is targeted at the multiplex audience and if the response is good, the family audience might come out to watch the film. On the other hand, Kya Kool Hain Hum 3 is a hugely successful franchise – the first film was a unexpected hit and the second did well because it took a very good start.

My routine for tomorrow :-
1)will wait for airlift reviews from Sukanya verma, Rajeev Masand and anupama chopda.
2) as soon as they come, i will calculate its average and then i will round it to ‘out of 5’.
3) if the average comes out greater than 2.5 , i will watch the film.
4) if the average comes below 2.5 , i will not watch the film and bulldoz my twitter profile/indicine cmnts section with the crappy reviews of pseudo-intellectuals.

The first FBO of 2016 mine prediction was better than u now comes the second prediction for airlift. You have predicted 10.9cr but according to me it will open around 11.2cr and for kkhh3 ur prediction is 9.3cr and mine prediction is 8.5cr so let’s see who wins this FBO. Indicine I am your fan and just checking my instincts. No hard feelings I have learned many things from u about Bollywood so thanks and this is just a healthy competition.

If so, how much?
airlift have very good good chance to do more than 13 cr in the first day because he has good advance booking and so many sites expectation to do more than %50 in the opening so I think opening will be around 11-13 cr and lifetime +130 cr.
and my prediction for kya-kool-hai-hu 3 in first day 7-8 and lifetime 50-60 cr
During dilwale release many of u were barking about proud of being indian and boycotting the movie due to intolerance comment of srk. While now Akki praised India, called this country the best in the world and incredible. Besides this he is coming with patriotic movie. Lets see now are you proud of being indian and support airlift or you all will show your real colour and prefer porn comedy over patriotic movie. @Edx.. Personally I did not enjoy singham returns but what singham was a blockbuster, everybody loved it. You know how many real life cops n families got inspiration from singham? watch d interview pre singham returns release. A remake but one of d best remakes. Among very few film in box office history to have the highest 3rd week. That’s a statement and for a reason.
You missed out holiday? replace it with omg as a full fledged actors movie not guest.
K k h hum 3 will gross from 8.6-10.5.
That’s it! The two side actors in Khakee did a nice job so reunion of the side heroes of Khakee after quite a while.
Airlift will be a great movie for sure. It deserves 20cr collections on opening day. But due to the presence of panouti Kumar it will struggle to go past even 10cr mark..
