Singer Sandeep Acharya, the winner of Indian Idol 2, has passed away at a hospital in Gurgaon on Sunday.
Sources say, Sandeep had been suffering from jaundice for more than 2 weeks, but didn’t get himself treated. He was admitted to a hospital in his hometown in a critical condition.
He was later taken to an hospital in Gurgaon for further treatment, but breathed his last on Sunday morning.
The 29-year-old singer is survived by his wife and a daughter who was born last month.
His brother, Akshay Acharya, said “Last night, doctors said his condition was under control and he was showing signs of recovery. We were all hoping we’d soon take him home. But nobody knew that he would leave us forever.”
“He was supposed to release his new album ‘O Sanam Tere Bina’ mid-December” Akshay added.

I don’t know but is this the same guy who had a style of Udit Narayan?
The loss is immense for his family, and I have recently gone through a tragic loss with someone close to our family.
People should not take any illness lightly and get treated quickly, because you have many years ahead for working out on your career and just a few days delay doesn’t make any difference. Health is wealth, and should be given first priority.
