The effort to unearth black money is gaining momentum across the country as Income Tax officials conducted searches at offices belonging to producers of last year’s biggest Telugu blockbuster ‘Bahubali’.
“The search is part of the routine procedure the Income Tax department follows from time to time. These kinds of searches are mostly confined to offices and places belonging to people connected to the target” a source from the IT department was reported as saying by a news channel.
There are reports that searches are currently on in Hyderabad at the offices located in Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills.
Released across more than 4000 theatres in multiple languages, ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ grossed more than Rs 600 crore worldwide. It’s also the biggest dubbed Hindi film of all time.
Update: According to a news report on NDTV, Rs 60 crore worth of money in the discontinued Rs 500 and Rs 1000 denominations were found at the offices of ‘Baahubali’ producers.

The new initiative of discontinuing 500 and 1000 Rupee notes is a masterstroke by the Central Government . Yes it is causing trouble to many people but in the next few days the situation will be normal . I am not sure whether this is a rumour or correct news but this is not a good sign . Income Tax Department is on a roll these days and they have done a terrific job all over India .

Be aware this could be a conspiracy, arranged and requested raid by Bahubali Producers. To convert their invalid currency stock through income tax department itself.
Nation should be cautious. Bahubali may pay some penalty or prove that its tax paid money and in return get new notes. Fooling Indians.
Why Income tax department should take control of invalid currency ?
