Actor Imran Khan, who is currently busy with his upcoming film ‘Katti Batti’, has once again signed Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Bhoole Se Naam Na Lo Pyaar Ka – previously titled Milan Talkies.
Sources say, the film is about a cinema hall and also deals with movie piracy. Tigmanshu will start shooting for the film in December.
Under the previous title ‘Milan Talkies’, the film was supposed to begin nearly two years ago after the release of ‘Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbaai Dobaara’. However, Imran had a fall out with Ekta and the film was shelved. Other actors like Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor were approached, but things didn’t fall in place.
Talking about his patch up with Ekta Kapoor, Imran said “I have no hang-ups if I believe in the director and the script. I liked the script and had committed to Tigmanshu even before I did Once Upon Ay Time… I am happy I will be doing it now”
“Unfortunately, it’s (patch up) taken a year-and-a-half for that to happen. It would’ve been nicer if we had met a lot sooner. Signals get crossed in high-stress situations and there is a lot of miscommunication. There are a lot people in between… Recently, we bumped into each other and out of politeness we started talking. Baat karte-karte, we left all the unpleasantness behind us. She explained what she was feeling, I explained what I felt and we were able to come to a common ground and decided to go ahead with the film.”
