While several Bollywood actresses like Dia Mirza and Preity Zinta have tried their hand at film production, Kareena Kapoor Khan has no such plans. She says she is all for acting, and hopes she is on the set even when she takes her last breath.
“I have never been interested in production, direction or writing. I have always been interested in acting since childhood, and I will continue doing it till I grow old. I will keep on visiting the sets and hope I will even die on the sets,” Kareena said here at the FICCI Frames 2013.
Kareena comes from Bollywood’s famous Kapoor family, which has produced legends like her great grandfather Prithviraj Kapoor and grandfather Raj Kapoor. Her parents Randhir Kapoor and Babita made their mark as popular actors too, and her Kareena’s elder sister Karisma was among the top actresses of 1990s. Her cousin Ranbir is touted as Bollywood’s latest youth icon.
Kareena herself is one of the top-rated talents of current times, and as of now, she is busy shooting for Prakash Jha’s “Satyagraha” and Karan Johar’s “Gori Tere Pyaar Mein.”
Now she is old, please kareena doing character roles.
She is too old now to do romantic movies. She should make role as Ra One (a mother). It’s sad, but true. She should accept her age and give her place to young talented people like Anushka, Deepika, Sonam, Sonakshi or whatever. She looks too old to do the role of a young woman who falls in love. I hope I do not see her again in this kind of film, she really looks ridiculous. She should follow the steps of Vidya (Ishqiya, The Dirty Picture, No One Killed Jessica, Kahaani). Balan really accepts her age not like Bebo!
