Talking to the media for the first time after the release of Besharam, which went on to be one of the biggest disappointments of his career, Ranbir Kapoor said that he doesn’t regret doing the film.
When a journalist questioned the actor, asking if he regrets doing the film, Kapoor said “Not at all. I don’t regret doing Besharam”
“Even my first film (Saawariya) was a flop. I don’t regret anything in my life. I had an opportunity to work with my parents in the film,” he said.
When another reporter asked what went wrong with the Abhinav Kashyap directed film, Ranbir said “I don’t have any formula for success. I work with my conviction in my films”
Released in theatres on October 2nd 2013, Besharam went on to collect Rs 57 crore at the domestic box office. The film was thrashed by the critics and rejected by the audience.

EVEN dabbang was a crap…Abhinav is a waste director…….some how that became a hit…..so Ranbir don’t follow crap directors like Abhinav and don’t ever do south copy paste masala action films….do originals and quality films

No regret LOL ok then keep doing those kind of films. Another thing I must say, after Besharam, Salman or Arbaaz didnt say anything against Abhinav Kashyap. That shows they are not against him at all. He is like their brother after the release of Dabangg first part.
ranbir, you learned your lesson. you are a good subtle actor. you don’t need to do masala movies to gain more popularity. stick to what you do best, and keep up the good word.
barfi and ye jawani hai diwani . both non holiday releases passed raone and jab tak hai jaan which were both a diwali release lol. if we remove cheenai express which was eid release. what is srk’s next big movie in last 4 years :P ranbir is a superstar no doubt and he would rule bollywood along with hritik for next decade

Good answer Ranbir, i think whether you are happy or not with bo performance of any movie,you should stick to your decision whether you failed or not. If ranbir said he regrets for his decision than somehow he would insult all the people who associated with the movie. And success or failure is a part of every one life whether he is a simple man or a superstar and I think biggest example is Big B. So ranbir is very talented actor and he has to go miles ahead. @ravi rk is no where to srk. Ra1 n don2 col 100cr in 2011, clean hits at boxoffice where rockstar semi hit. Barfi took 35days to cross 100cr with good script where jthj col 122cr with week script. But ranbir stardorm is better than hritic, even he himself said don’t compare with god of bollywood khans.
