‘I am sitting here and laughing’ Rohit Shetty

Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale has been panned by the critics, but the director of the Shah Rukh Khan starrer has said critic reviews doesn’t affect him. Rohit added that he is “sitting and laughing”

“I don’t read reviews because I get slammed every time. It’s better that I don’t”

“The first or second time that my film was panned, I was much younger but this is the eleventh time that it’s happening, so I am sitting here and laughing”

“It’s about having a certain choice; I cannot say that they’re (critics) wrong and I am right because I am catering to a different audience They probably want me to do something different. I am done with reacting to reviews. I am mature now and don’t get affected. I am okay with it” the director said.

Also starring Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, Dilwale released in theatres on December 18.

I dont know why there is so much negativity around Dilwale in India, the response here in Pakistan is amazing. It broke the highest weekend record of hindi films in Pakistan. The record belonged to D3.My all friends were very happy with the film. The whistles & cheers were more than CE,HNY,BB and BO results in Pakistan showing it.For the first time my group is planning to watch a movie 2 times in theater

  • of course he won’t bother as money making is the most important for the filmmakers.. why would they bother?!!! it’s a business for sure and nothing else!!!!!!! I still didn’t watch the 2 films, Dilwale and Bajiro.. I will watch Dilwale today and the other film next week and will submit my reviews.
