Ashutosh Gowariker, the man behind the Oscar nominated Lagaan, will be directing his favourite actor Hrithik Roshan in ’Mohenjo-Daro’.
Gowariker has been working on the script since 2012 and he is glad that the film is finally set to roll.
“I have been working on the script for the past two years now. I am glad that finally it is happening” Gowariker said.
After Lagaan, Gowariker directed Swades starring Shahrukh Khan, Jodha Akbar starring Hrithik Roshan and Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey featuring Abhishek Bachchan. While Jodha Akbar emerged a hit, Swades and KHJJS were box office failures.
Gowariker says he is excited about working with Hrithik again.
“I will be starting it in three-four months time. I am looking forward to it. It’s Hrithik and me again after a long time. I am very excited and looking forward to it,” he said.
Mohenjo-Dari will go on floors in the month September this year and could release late 2015 or early 2016.
A.R Rahman will be composing the tunes.

When Gowariker worked with Aamir they created history and the movie entered in top 5 final list of Oscars and when he worked with Hrithik then their combination gave beautiful superhit movie but when he worked with our king then they gave box office failure Swades and we were confused whether it was our kings fault that our kings stardom is less than this 2 superstars coz critically Swades was good movie but still box office failure

3.anushka sharma
4.deepika padukone
but i think ashutosh sir willn’t offer to DP as he has already worked wid her in khele hum jee jaan se. So he may offer kareena also.
Neha sharma is also a good choice.
Hrithik rejected shuddhi and signed mohenjodaro! ! !but why? ? Both films will need same no.s of date for shootings!then why he rejected earlier one?now I feel kareena is the cause for which hr opted out from shuddhi.
Hope this movie will be as good as Jodha Akbar.
