Filmmaker Vijay Krishna Acharya, who has directed films like ‘Tashan’ and ‘Dhoom 3’, will announce his next film in a few weeks.
While there were rumours of Hrithik Roshan and Amitabh Bachchan signing ‘Dhoom 4’, Acharya said they he hasn’t approached Bachchan for any film.
On rumours of Hrithik once again playing the role of a villain in ‘Dhoom 4’, Acharya said ”We’ll be announcing the film in a few weeks. Will keep you posted and will be able to give you a clear picture then.”
An official source from Yash Raj Films requested the media from making baseless speculations on the star cast of their much-rumoured upcoming film
“Wait for YRF to make the official announcements on forthcoming films and in the meantime please refrain from casting speculations”
While there were rumours of Hrithik signing a film titled ‘Thug’, recent rumours have suggested that the film is the fourth instalment in the super-successful Dhoom series of films.

No difference in terms if content whether he do Thug or dhoom 4 as both were having robbery as key element. If hrithik do Dhoom 4 then the box office will be rocking but I don’t think he would able to match his dhoom 2 act just like K3 he failed to match Krishh as superhero because the excitement and anticipation are damm high but the products failed to meet those. HR already did crap Bang -2, so I wish Hrithik should do action movies only if it has substance not only style. Dhoom is a establish brand which can take movies to safety zones irrespective of high cost otherwise juggling in manipulated figures like Bang-2.

Wow ! This is some news . Hrithik was Absolutely Killer in Dhoom 2 . He was by far the Best Thief of Dhoom Series and also Dhoom 2 is the Best Dhoom movie . I will be recall happy if Hrithik is part of Dhoom 4 or Thug . If both the movies are of same Genre then YRF will go ahead with only one movie . Victor is a crap director who has made Tashan and Dhoom 3 . He has written Dhoom and D2 and has done a fantastic job . But in Direction he has to improve a lot . I would be really happy if Sanjay Gadhvi once again directs Dhoom 4 then it will be something to watch out for . In Dhoom John Died, in D3 Aamir Died but Hrithik was the only Thief who was Alive so he can once again get back to robbery . I will just wait for the official announcement . I am very excited for Dhoom 4 but if only Hrithik is a part of it and the script is good . People still miss Mr. A . It has been 9 years but still people still are fond of Mr. A . Dhoom 2 was the Highest Grosser of Bollywood in 2006 and broke the record of Gadar . I can’t imagine what will happen when Hrithik will come with Dhoom 4 . Fingers Crossed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don’t want KING KHAN to be the part of any vijay Krishna acharya FILM once again.I liked the look of john,style+dance of hrithik in dhoom series,and completely spit on perfaketionist after watching d3.someone else will surely will direct dhoom4 because vijay will not direct again,I know YRF again want to tro us just like during announcement of befikre,it’s something like that film or will be thug,no dhoom movie so early I guess

D:2 was brilliant movie & HR was Outstanding still IT WAS ‘BLOCKBUSTER’ Only.
While D:3 was idiotic movie & we can say it was not as good as other 2 part yet IT WAS ‘ATBB’.
So you need KHANS to break records at box office.

1st of all,
collections of D2 (2006) n OSO (2007) are almost the same ,
despite D2 collections little bit higher than OSO collection in both markets [ Domestic n Overseas (may be less) ] n including both markets even 1 year ago from OSO , BOI verdicts D2 as BLOCKBUSTER OSO as ATBB
This is not a fault of Hrithik or D2 team, this is the fault of BOI ( a weak site or srk friendly site or Khans Friendly site )
HRITHIK’s DHOOM=2 is ALL TIME BLOCKBUSTER if OSO is ATBB , we can’t accept BOI fault

D2 was released in Normal day ( 24 Nov 2006 ) or normal periods ( about 4 weeks, there was no holidays
not like D3 which was released in one of the most powerful EDX (EidDiwaliXmas) holidays periods . I know, I know , D3 too was released in normal periods but slightly 4 days before Christmas (25.12.2013) but that doesn’t matter much because among 4 days, it contains 1st weekend ( 1st 3 days ) and after that about 2 weeks holidays periods including Christmas day, last day of year, New Year and that not end here because schools n colleges are closed from Christmas , so many people also take leave from offices or offices give leave from Christmas till 2nd weak of new year
