Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan are no longer husband and wife. The ex-couple were granted divorce by the Bandra court on Saturday morning.
“They are legally divorced now. Today at around 10:30am, all things were done. They have got divorced in a very unique and elegant way where there is no alimony and not a single document drawn up between them. It’s all on the basis of trust, respect and faith. This is an example they have set on how a couple should part ways in an elegant and classy way” Laywer Deepesh Mehta told reporters.
There were reports earlier that Sussanne had demanded Rs 380 crore as alimony, which was denied both by Hrithik and Sussanne.
They also get joint custody of their two children Hrehaan and Hridhaan.
“They have joint custody. Whenever and whoever wants to be with the kids, can be with them” Mehta said.
The divorce ends one of Bollywood’s most talked about fairy tale love story. The couple who began dating in 1996, way before Hrithik made his debut in Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, ends today on the 1st of November 2014. They tied the knot on December 20 2000.

Sad ending!!! But the reasons are still unknown that why did they separate?? There must be another woman in Hrithik’s life or another man in suzanne’s life which can be the cause of separation. Anyhow, this will really affect their children’s upbringing and that’s the worst part. They will never be able to enjoy their parents’ company all together.
