Amisha Patel made her debut with Hrithik Roshan in Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, the movie was the biggest blockbuster of the year. A year late, she followed it up with the biggest blockbuster of the decade Gadar – Ek Prem Katha and just when her career looked most promising with Abbas – Mustan’s Hit thriller Humraaz, she delivered a string of flops.
At a time when she could have worked with any star in the industry, she made wrong choices (or was it the lack of acting talent?), much like Hrithik did during his post-KNPH days. But while Hrithik made a huge comeback with Koi Mil Gaya, Amisha hit an all time low both personally and professionally. She moved out of her house, lived in with director Vikram Bhatt in a relationship that eventually ended on a bitter note. Currently and from a good two years or so, Amisha is dating London based businessman Kanav Puri.
