Holiday has done very well in its first week, collecting around 67.5 crore at the domestic box office. The Akshay Kumar starrer is the second highest first week grosser of 2014, below Salman Khan’s Jai Ho.
Holiday will continue its good run at most theatres this weekend, as it competes against Akshay’s home-production Fugly. Holiday will also remain the first choice, it should collect around 18-19 crore in its second weekend.
A.R Murugadoss’ second film after Ghajini (the first film to cross the 100 crore mark) is likely to join to the 100 cr milestone.

Oye emrann fans then I can say all the hit films of emrann is bcz of hit songs and well written sex scenes.accept ur fav star at no.11 position.but good news is if humshakal fails at b.o. then emmu will jump to 10th spot behind arjun and if his upcoming films which nobody knows when they will release become hits then he can get to 7th th spot.:-)

Positives:Awesome acting by Akki Sir..superb screenplay and direction by ARM..Sonakshi as usual was a filler..Sumeet Raghavan was good as Mukund..Govinda was good in his cameo..great action scenes!!! :)
Negatives:Music was more of a speedbreaker at times in the story..wish they had retained Vidyut Jamwal as the villain than Freddy Daruwala..Freddy acted well, but Vidyut had the persona to match Akki Sir..Govinda was good in his cameo..
Overall a must watch at your nearest theatre!!! :)

sunny deol was baap of all khans in his prime during 90?s and early 2000, and now akshay kumar has taken that position, sunny had proven his mettle at the box office numerous times. Even his films had clashed with the Khans, be it Ghayal pitted against Dil, Ghatak pitted against Raja Hindustani, Gadar pitted against Lagaan, we all know the result all the films were astounding success and surpassed the collection of his rivals. Also Indian was pitted against Ashoka and there also the result is well known, Salman khan was kid in font of him in Jeet and now he shows his steroid pumped up fake muscles. His mantle has now been taken over by Akshay, media was not also fare to Sunny also, however, it did not bother him as he churned hit after hit.

Holiday was an entertaining film from start too end. Luckily the dull moments were all in the songs which were further apart. Overall, a sureshot winner for Superstar Akshay Kumar and team.
@Floppy do your calculation correctly you dumb fuck. Holiday collected 68 crore and in second weekend it will collect 19-25 or more. So verdict will be a HIT.
If akki didn’t do crap films like tmk, joker, cctc, boss etc his films collection would’ve been better today he should continue working with good directors like neeraj pandey, ar murgaddos, and priyadarshan rather than sajid, Farrah and shrrish kunder.
