Hindi Medium continued its excellent run, holding very well on its 2nd Monday at the box office. The film has shown very little drop from its 1st Friday and the trend now suggests the film will challenge the lifetime total of ‘Half Girlfriend’ and it could even cross the 60 crore mark by the end of its run.
The drop from the first week to second will be minimal and even if the film has a 40-50% drop in Week 3, the 60 crore mark will be surpassed.
‘Hindi Medium’ has one more open week at the box office, before ‘Raabta’ arrives in theatres next weekend.

Hindi Medium has been the surprise Hit of 2017 . It is great to see content oriented films getting their due in terms of Box Office . Usually these kind of films get critical appreciation but they don’t emerge successful but it feels great to see Hindi Medium challenging the lifetime collections of Half Girlfriend which is a bigger film in terms of starcast and scale . In the last few years he has made some terrific choices with The Lunchbox, Talvar, Piku, Madaari and Hindi Medium . There is only a slight difference between the 3rd day and the 10th day collections which is just unbelievable . Well done !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@Indicine, I am big fan of srk, but the clash of Half Girlfriend & Hindi Medium give me hint that the clash of SRK_Imtiyaz Ali movie & Toilet ek prem katha will be happen the same reuslt if Imtiyaz Ali movie has not appreciate by the public & Toilet has great review.
