The teaser of ‘Haseena Parkar’, popularly known as ‘Aapa’ – a name that sent shivers in Mumbai’s Nagpada area, is out. The film is said to be a true story based on the life and times of the sister of India’s Most Wanted Man – Dawood Ibrahim (played by Shraddha’s own brother Siddhanth Kapoor).
The film charts Haseena Parkar’s journey from a young girl to a mother of four to the Godmother of Nagpada across four decades in Mumbai.
The teaser glorifies the life of one of Mumbai’s most dreaded ‘godmother’.
The film, directed by Apoorva Lakhia, releases in theatres on August 18 2017.
