Hasee Toh Phasee has shown fantastic growth in business on its second day at the domestic box office. The film picked up by more than 35% at high-end multiplexes, where the night shows were running to packed houses in metro cities.
The Sidharth Malhotra – Parineeti Chopra starrer has collected around 5.8 – 6 cr on Saturday, to take its 2-day total to around 10.25 cr. There are reports that the occupancy for the morning shows on Sunday is higher than both Friday and Saturday, so the film is likely to collect around 7 cr today.
The word-of-mouth is excellent, so we expect Hasee Toh Phasee to hold up well on Monday.

Does HTP have anything to do with Jai Ho?? Yes, similarly to what you have said, the first day collections of HTP was better than that of Don 2 because it (HTP) was released in lesser numbers of cinema and that too, during a non-festive time. Besides, it didn’t have a Farhan Akhtar, Haakhla Lungi Thakur, Piggy Chop and a legendary name (of Amitji) attached to it.
Salman Khan is a person that will be eternally remembered by all because of his noble work through Charity Foundation, Being Human. Your Sarkar of Paglapur will be remembered by few people in the film industry but forgotten by others as he faces his demises. Take Rajesh Khanna and alike for examples.
