Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan’s first release for 2014 finally has a confirmed release date. The film, directed by Farah Khan, will release on Thursday, October 23rd 2014 – which gives it an extended 4 day Diwali weekend in theatres.
The first look poster of the film will be unveiled on the two most popular social networking websites – Facebook and Twitter.
Happy New Year reunites the winning ‘Om Shanti Om’ team with Farah directing Shahrukh and Deepika Padukone almost 7 years after their last film together.
The film also stars Boman Irani, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah.
The makers are also using the social media platforms to create curiosity and anticipation around the first look poster’, what with #WackyWishes and #HNYPoster both trending on micro-blogging website Twitter.

@aks gajini is not all time blockbuster not dhoom3 it is only in Boi who always favouring Amir. Atbb movies collection should intact for more than 3-4 year. Gajinis record broken by many movies within 2-3 years. If ra1 is not a hot then gajini was just a hit. When it comes to srk movies every body talk about cost budget but other they only brings collection. Gajinis selling price was 89 cr How come it became atbb.
