Happy New Year has become only the 6th film to cross the 200 crore mark in India, after 3 Idiots, Chennai Express, Krrish 3, Dhoom 3 and Kick. The Hindi version of the film hasn’t yet crossed the 200 crore mark, something that it should do in its 4th weekend.
The Shahrukh Khan starrer has surpassed the lifetime business of Ek Tha Tiger and should cross 3 Idiots this Friday.
Happy New Year will finish with lifetime business of around Rs 205 – 206 crore net.

Poor just 204/205 crores collections….5000 screens, worldwide top notch never seen like promotions, no clash, many stars (SRK, DP, AB, SS etc), positive to mixed reviews by critics, 150 crores budget, 3 holidays, best release time -Diwali and ultimately SRK star power still it could collect only 70% of Dhoom 3 and 80 % of Krish 3…what in earth calls this movie success…
It has definatley underperformed given the scope of earnings it had….It just proves that SRK is not the big thing…

Salman experimented with Middle eastern spy action thriller with ETT, experimented with heist thriller Kick, experimented with Dabangg the first bollywood masala film set in rural areas and was hugely successful all 3 times.

1990s SRK worked with quality film makers like Mani Ratnam, Kundan Shah, Aziz Mirza
2000 SRK worked with only 1 quality director in CDI (Shimmit Amin)
2010 SRK has worked with all garbage directors so far such as Anubhav Sinha, Farhan Akhtar, Rohit Shetty, Farah Khan.
In other words, each passing decade, SRK has started choosing TRASH over CLASS and still managed to cross 200 Crores TWICE!
SRK can hit 300 Cr if he worked again in Quality Scripts with Quality filmmakers like Sri Ram Raghaven, Anurag Kashyup, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Raj Kumar Hirani etc.

As stated earlier , the Star power is only liable foe the first weekend. Happy New Year recorded the highest weekendin history . Now , content wise everyone knows that HNY was nt upto the mark …………… So, it underperformed . Kick had only 83.13 crs weekend but was praised by masses . So, it performed better .

Oh no. It happen what we srkians had in our nightmares. I mean the wrong title, I said earlier if the movie named happy diwali than it will burst crackers in pagalpur with breaking ww collection of Avtar, but most of us couldn’t understand that this film releases on happy diwali instead of happy new year. Other wise as it is our prime right from last 6 years to give excuses for king under performance despite everything in favour of him.
Film not get released in our planet where 3.7 billions fans living under the kingdom of (no no its not srk) complan boy.
Srk himself given free entrance to everywhere mostly in overseas as he sometimes feels insecure in India, most of the money which our full over actors film collected just due to black sell of ticket outside theatre.
The film was released in mere 50 screens ww but as everything associated with king is huge so we publicised film released on 5000 screens same formula which we used to declare fanbase of srk from complan method of multiplying. Still 180cr domestic and 340 cr lifetime ww is huge.
On this prestigious occasion I am searching for complan boy @sss who from 11 months completely ruined the every post by his nonsensical comment.
