Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, one of the most versatile actors in the industry, turns 49 today. He has just completed a terrific year with 3 hits in the form of ‘Airlift’, ‘Housefull 3’ and ‘Rustom’. He also became the first actor to deliver three 100 crore grossers in the same year.
The 50th year of his life could well be his biggest ever, as he has an outstanding line-up of upcoming films which includes the mega-budget film ‘Robot 2.0’ where he would be seen sharing screen-space with Tamil superstar Rajnikanth.
What’s changed about Akshay in the last few years is his choice of films. From following trends that are working to choosing films that set industry trends, and inspires others to follow, Akshay has become the benchmark of hard work, consistency and dedication.
