John Abraham’s Force has opened to a good response all over India, proving once again that remakes of South Indian masala films are here to stay! If 2005 – 2009 was the era of comedies, the rise to superstardom of stars like Salman Khan, Ajay Devgan and now John Abraham is mainly due to the unexpected craze for action movies.
Few John Abraham solo-films have done well, but with Force opening to 60 – 65% collections all over India, it could well be his first much-needed commercial hit.
The film should hold up well for the weekend as the word-of-mouth is positive all over. Many who have seen it – even at multiplexes in bigger cities – have liked it. Collections are expected to pick up on Saturday and Sunday all-India collections could well be in the 7 crores range.
Competition from 4 other releases has affected Force to a certain extent (no of screens at plexes), but the John-Genelia starrer is leading by a distance at every center.
Collections in excess of 50 crores (nett) is very much possible!
John’s body is very good in this film n genilia is sexy.action n romace are good.i think force is hit in box office.i don’t compare it with dabangg or singham.

John was good, Unfortunately….movie is flopped, because the hereon was died too. She must live with hero then movie should make sense, other wise result is 0. In this movie they showed that the enemy is always win, its not good lesson. Movie success based on Happy Ending.. Dubung and Body Guard was happy ending, they got success. Its just an example…. why director dont think? Is there creating new trend to “Sad Endings”…. they will lose it if the follow this track.

must see film. i saw the movie twice… really enjoyed the chemistry between India’s most handsome hunk John and the very cute genelia. the whole film is packed with thrilling action!

Me too having same opinion. Director is not used John in a proper way even though he is having huge muscular body. He could have used him much better way also by releasing dialogues. But it seems director more interested in giving powerful dialogues to Villain rather than hero also interested exposing villains body. Some of the Johns mistakes not reviewed by Director. At the last screaming John looks very odd to the whole film gives wrong message He should have express emotions in other way. I hope both director and hero will learn some thing. Villain part Vishnu used and did very well. Genelia also not impressed with her role. I never say movie is bad but its above average But it could have have been done even well without expense just with brain
