Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has overtaken Shahrukh Khan for the first time in the Forbes India Top 100 Celebrities ranking. Salman is not only the highest earning celebrities in the country for the year 2014, but also the most powerful.
After topping the Forbes India Top 100 Celebrity ranking for three years consecutively, Shahrukh Khan has dropped down to No 3 in the most powerful list. While his earnings has dropped this year, SRK is the second highest earning celebrity in the country.
Salman Khan tops Forbes India Top 100 Celebrities
It must be noted that the window taken to calculate the worth and power of a celebrity is between October 1, 2013 to September 30, 2014, the period during which Shahrukh didn’t have a movie release.
The legendary Amitabh Bachchan is ranked at No 2 in the most powerful list, while earnings-wise he is ranked at No 3.
Indian Cricket Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Akshay Kumar, who does 3 to 4 films a year on an average, make it to the Top 5.
Hrithik Roshan is the 6th highest earning celebrity, followed by Aamir Khan.

But, read the article again, Indicine has written Hrithik is 6th highest earning celebrity behind Salman, SRK, Amit Sir, Akshay and MS Dhoni with earning of 85 crore, but a list below in order of their power which also has their earning shows Ranbir earned 93 crore, that’s why I said he should be ahead of Hrithik at 6th in terms of their earning.
