For Salman, it’s Sher Khan and Kick after Dabangg

For Salman Khan, it’s family that always comes first. When the actor landed in Mumbai on Wednesday morning, several filmmakers like Anees Bazmee, Sooraj Barjatya and Sajid Nadiadwala were waiting to meet him and discuss their films.

But Salman, with limited time at his disposal, couldn’t meet all of them as he had to rush to attend the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards in Singapore.

Anees Bazmee has been waiting for months to narrate the sequel to ‘No Entry’, while Subhash Ghai was part of the list of filmmakers awaiting a meeting with Salman.

But the actor has given preference to his family and two pending projects – Sohail’s Sher Khan and Shirish Kunder’s Kick. Work on Sohail’s film will begin soon after Arbaaz Khan’s sequel to Dabangg.

Says one of Salman’s friend “Salman wants to start ‘Sher Khan’ and ‘Kick’ before the year ends. Both Sohail and Sajid Nadiadwala (producer of Kick) have waited patiently. And Salmam values loyalty above all else. The others would have to wait. For now it’s family Arbaaz, Sohail and Sajid. The rest will follow next year.”

There were rumours that Salman could start Sooraj Barjatya’s Bade Bhaiyya this year, but unfortunately due to his packed schedule, it might be postponed to 2013.
