January’s biggest movie release Agneepath has been in news from months now. The film is hot property in the trade and with film-makers too, what with 5 big budget films queuing up to release their trailer with Agneepath.
The 5 theatrical trailers that will be attached to Agneepath are – Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer ‘Ek Main Aur Ek Tu’ produced by Karan Johar himself; Aamir Khan’s ‘Talaash’ directed by Reema Kagti; Akshay Kumar’s ‘Rowdy Rathore’ directed by Prabhu Deva; Saif Ali Khan’s ‘Agent Vinod’ and lastly a film produced by Venus titled ‘Tezz’ starring Ajay Devgan.
The release of Agneepath on 26th serves as a strong platform for other filmmakers to unveil their trailers along with it. Says Karan Johar “Attaching trailers to big releases is effective due to the eyeballs the weekend generates, and in this case, it’s a long weekend due to the Republic Day holiday.”
