Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar will be hosting the 62nd Filmfare Awards 2017, which will be held on January 14 2017 at the NSCI Dome in Worli, Mumbai.
The title sponsor of the Filmfare Awards this year is Jio. A new digital segment, the JIO Filmfare Short Film Awards will also been launched.
“I’m delighted that Filmfare and Jio has partnered with each other. Our partnership is truly a winning combination. Powered by Jio, the Filmfare Awards – current and past – will be showcased to our audiences in a variety of unique ways across our platforms.” Nita Ambani of Reliance Foundation said in statement.
Both Shah Rukh and Karan have previously hosted the Filmfare Awards.

Aamir Khan should receive Filmfare award this year even if he doesn’t attend the event. This is the only way they can bring back prestige to these award functions. Aamir could thank via a taped video. There hasn’t been other great performances apart from Amitabh in Pink and SRK in Fan, which was a commercial flop, so he might not get the award for it. MJD was a flop as well, so no Hrithik. Shahid in UP, Akshay in Airlift and Salman in Sultan were good, but not award worthy. As for females, Alia Bhatt will most probably win it and deservingly so.

Achievement- first married a women who was my mother age got two kids….then married another women my daughters age got one kid with her..
Biggest achievement- Broke a well settled relationship of my colleague, stole her gf converted her got married, though which is nothing new which I had already done earlier..
Part time job- Acting is my part time job, thanks to my muma I got a national award, but u people know srk was deserved for swadesh….
Last hit film- don’t remember…akki and srk no more taking me as their side kick…. But thanks to my wife’s ex-bf he was kind enough to take me as his wing man in his upcoming movie.

Upcoming solo movies- I have stopped doing solo movies….there is so much of work in the home now… I have to take care of Taimur ulla khan patudi, have to teach him all the nuances that me and my father followed and excelled in our primary job (converting and producing).
