Filmfare Awards 2012 / 2013 Nominations

After a year filled with good performances and some great movies, the nominations for India’s oldest awards the 58th Idea Filmfare Awards 2013 are out. Barfi has received the most number of nominations – as many as 9 in the 10 popular categories. Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs Of Wasseypur has bagged 6 nominations, closely followed by Karan Malhotra’s Agneepath (5 nominations).

Unfortunately, one of the best films of 2012, Paan Singh Tomar, winner of the Colors Screen Awards 2013 for Best Film, has missed out in all categories except Best Actor in a leading role (Irrfan Khan).

  • Paan singh tomar was an excellent should be nominated for best film.paan singh tomar was far better movie than boring vicky donor.

  • isn’t it funny how indicine were desperate to say akki’s made a guest appearance in OMG lol. awards category nominated him in supporting role.

  • Fake awards are back! dont know what is the criteria for selection box office collection or performance ? bcoz some year they nominate actors like Big B for PAA (critical bt not a great money spinner 28 crores) some year they only nominate super hits and forget critically acclaimed performances …Filmfare is confused itself…

  • If any one other than ranbir or hrithik or irfaan wins the award(especially srk) this time, then its time that these FAKEFARE awards are discontinued forever, as srk is allegedly NOTORIOUS for buying these awards(in his own words they are candies). If these filmfare people really want to uphold their credibility, genuinty and transparency then they should give awards to the actor/actress who deserve the most and not someone who can buy them like candies. Even salman is not as deserving as ranbir or hrithik or irfaan but the very nomination of srk (for the kind of acting in jthj) in the list hints that srk has already bought the “CANDY”. Lets wait and watch. If this time srk wins the best filmfare award other than ranbir or hrithik or irfaan, then it will become a universal truth that srk indeed buys his candies.

  • best film vicky donor.because it is not a remake any hollywood movie
.best director sujoy ghosh for kahani .
best actor manoj baypaye for gangs of wasseypur.
best actress vidya and kareena. emraan hashmi .sup.actress rani hands down best music cocktail
best lyric javed jee le zara playback male sonu nigam female shreya 4 chikni chameli.what do u think?

  • @NVS..

i can see ur frustration of salman not winning any best actor award in his career of 25 years…
may be next year he gets an award for Shirt Removing Entertainer of the year…

  • best actor should go to paresh rawal or irfan khan, best actress sridevi, 2nd choice priyanka, vidya’s act is average, kahani was more suspense driven than acting driven. best supporting actor akki for omg.

  • This is for a dumb named sourav,Salman has not yet completed his 25 years in bollywood & it is going to be completed by the end of 2013 with another all time blockbuster hit & dont be hurry we will annouce it soon.
By the by Salman has won his filmfare awards in his very first all time blockbuster film Maine pyaar kiya & the other one for kuch kuch hota hain which was half success because of his presence in the film which was directly admitted by the hero of the film. For your kind info Salman was nominated in both best actor & best supporting role for kkhh in filmfare awards being done an extended guest appearance.Apart from that they both acted in karan arjun in which Salman got nominated in best actor category but the other was not even nominated for that film but won for his other film ddlj.Need not to mention about Salman’s stardom.
Never underestimate three things SALMAN KHAN,his star power & his die hard fans.

  • @the game, did i any where mention that salman will win the filmfare award this year? seriously dude, even salman nor his fans will ever take these glittering fakes as seriously as srk or his fans. I read srk himself saying that he wants to win every award (this shows his desperation to win awards at any cost, by hook or by crook)! I know that salman may not win(only 10% chance) but surely ranbir, hrithik, irfaan & manoj are more deserving than srk, but having said that, knowing srk very well and his desperation & hunger for these awards, i wouldnt be suprised at all if he actually wins it ahead of his other contenders. Yes, ofcourse i would be very frustrated if srk wins, just satisfied if salman wins but will be very happy & proud if either ranbir or hrithik or irfaan wins as they deserve it more than anyone else.

  • Strange that Filmfare awards are considered fake or bought when SRK wins any. But genuine when any other actor wins it. But if another actor wins the awards that are claimed to be bought then it means that that actor outbid SRK. You cant have it both ways people. Either they are genuine or not. It cant be genuine say when Ranbir wins it and bought when SRK wins it.
Its like Aamir and his arrogance where he thinks he deserves all the awards and when he doesnt get he sulks and avoids attending the function. I dont see him throwing out the awards people receive on his behalf

  • @the game, ok if salman will be getting the best shirt removing entertainer of the year award than srk should get the following awards: 1. Best stammer of the year award goat mimicing actor of the year award overacting actor of the year irritating actor of the year mental torturing actor of the year desperate actor of the year and so on…..
Srk is really the king of fake awards.

  • NVS.abe apne salman ko dekh.acting banti nhi sa le nd aro type ki uchal kood karte rehta hai.bol us se , jara ek jagah shant ho kar baith jaye fir acting nd ro ka leader—salman khan
